As the Autobots prepare to land on Cybertron they receive a distress call from Chromia and Perceptor who warn them of a Decipticon trap. Megatron rejoices as he believes the Ark has been destroyed however the Autobots have another plan.

While the battle rages on the surface, deep below ground Hot Rod faces off against an unexpected traitor. With Vector Sigma destroyed the Autobots consider the battle won until the Decepticons reveal a superior weapon in their efforts to steal the Allspark.

After their victory over the Decepticons, Bumblebee finds himself hunted by a mysterious figure from his past. Hot Rod and Lugnut accidentally free the wrong bot from Quintesson control.

Frustrated Hot Rod attempts to free more of his comrades while Perceptor makes an epic discovery. Hot Rod discovers the terrible secret behind the Quintesson menace.
The Trial / The Prisoner
Hot Rod takes a strike team to free Windblade but gets captured by the Quintessons. Hot Rod and Soundwave clash over leadership of the Cybertronian resistance.
The Scientist / The Alliance / The Judge
Hot Rod and Soundwave team up against the Quintesson Scientist. The Cybertronian resistance makes an unexpected discovery about MacCadam's. In a last-ditch effort, the Autobots and Decepticons work together to try and save their universe.
The End of the Universe Parts 1 & 2
Starscreams fate is revealed a judge of the Quintessons and the interrogation of the Cybertronians begins.

Laconus is awoken by Windblade only to discover that Quintessons have summoned an own titan.
