The series features the antics of Charlie and Itchy as they continue life on earth as heaven's special guardian angels. The series is set in the canine universe of San Francisco's back alleys, streets and their favorite diner, 'The Flea Bite Cafe.'

Charlie is convinced that humans have an easier life than dogs. So Charlie misuses the Miracle Tag to turn himself into a human. Charlie's selfishness ultimately puts Itchy on a leash and lands Charlie in jail, making Charlie regret his choices.
History Of All Dogs
David has to write a report on 'dogs,' so Charlie and Itchy work to inspire him with tales of how helpful dogs have been. When these stories fail to inspire, the dogs decide to write the report of an epic tale of the 'dogfighters' of WWII.
Trading Collars
Charlie, dissatisfied with his common life, wants to trade places with Thor, a rich show dog who looks like him. Thor goes along with the plan; he's lonely and can't have fun because he's so pampered. But both struggle adjusting to the other's life.
Whacked To The Future
Charlie's laziness ruins a party when he relies on futuristic gadgets to avoid work. One gadget puts Charlie to sleep for two hundred years, and he awakes in a future where dogs are oppressed by a mysterious tyrant, the Great Deliverer.
Dr. Beagle And Mangy Hide
Charlie has a sudden craving for a new dog food, Happy Hound. He is unaware that Carface has tainted the supply with a terrible mutant chemical that turns Charlie into his very own version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Only Itchy can save him.
Charlie's Angle
In an attempt to teach Charlie responsibility, the powers-that-be in heaven send down three young angels for him to train. But instead of being a mentor, Charlie uses the gullible pups as his personal dogs-in-waiting. Then Carface appears.
Agent From F.I.D.O.
After Itchy gets hurt, Charlie complains that one dog can't make a difference in the world. So Itchy tells him a tall-tale about a secret agent who single-handedly saved the world--Double-Dog Dare, Agent from F.I.D.O.!
Bess And Itchy's Dog School Reunion
Itchy is worried about making a fool of himself at Bess' Show Dog School reunion, so Charlie stages a series of wacky masquerades to make Itchy seem rich and famous. But when Itchy gets over-confident, everything backfires.
When Hairy Met Silly
Charlie and Itchy step in to break up an argument between two young puppies. Charlie and Itchy hope to help by telling them the story of how the leader of a street dog gang and a quiet unappreciated yard dog became friends.
The Wrong Stuff
Charlie wants to be seen as heroic so he can win a reward being offered by a local TV station. Charlie fakes several 'heroic saves' with Itchy, but they all seem to go awry. When he does save Itchy, the reward isn't what he expected.
Haunted Is As Haunted Does
Hoping to help Itchy conquer some of his fears, Charlie forces him to stay the night in an abandoned mansion. But Itchy discovers that he is not in fact, alone in the home. Two ghosts and a cranky cellar-dweller also are in the mansion.
He Barked She Barked
Charlie is put on Heavenly Trial under the charge of misusing his Miracle Dog Tag. Itchy, coming to Charlie's defense, says Charlie used it selflessly to save a poor old dog, while Carface claims he was being selfish to get free snacks.
